Pam has been practicing yoga since 1983 and Iyengar Yoga since 1991. She studies with Iyengar Yoga teachers who are certified at various levels including senior level and has gained hundreds of hours of training.

Pam has attended and continues to attend teacher training classes and began teaching yoga in1995. The appeal of Iyengar Yoga for Pam has the detail instructions in learning the asanas and the utilization of props in order to experience the proper alignment of the poses.
